  Dear Miss Ireland

My siblings and I went out to my Nana’s farm during the holidays, we rode our motorbikes around most of the time. My motorbike is a Honda CRF80. It runs on 91 Unleaded fuel and it only costs around $8 to fill my tank up. Before you go motorbiking you should always check the fuel, the oil and you should always run the bike for a few minutes then check the oil again and make sure you hold the bike level, the brakes, and check that the chain has oil on it and that it is not too tight or loose. After you have done all of that you need to kick start your bike and warm it up before riding.

In the holidays Jayden, Kayla and I went out to Kumara and went motorbike riding on all the back roads around Dilmanstown and around the paddocks at my Nana’s farm. We rode through creeks, mud, massive puddles, over jumps, and up steep hills. On our ride we saw bush,birds,wekas,campervans,and gorse. We were riding for ages and ages and then we ended up at Old Christchurch Road. So we went back and on the way back we went past Cowboys Paradise. We carried on back to my Nana’s farm and we saw rabbits,ducks,gorse

Creeks,jumps,and campervans.

When we got back to our Nana’s farm we helped our dad in the shed. We worked on the oil shed that we took all the iron off. Then we found some iron that my dad had lying around. When we replaced all of the iron we could put lots of stuff in there because it wasn't leaking.

We are learning to understand about the Rocky Shore and the impact, both positive and negative, we can have on this environment.

Literacy As part of our rocky shore unit we will also use our literacy skills to read and learn about the rocky shore and to write an information report on a rocky shore creature. Writing We are learning to write an information report about an animal. We are learning to use our writing skills across the curriculum.
