Weeks 8-10 Space Literacy Tasks
Term 2 Weeks 9-10
Purpose of these reading activities is to: increase our
knowledge of space exploration and understand how
our knowledge and ideas about space have changed over
time (science). We are also learning to read non-fiction texts
and use our writing skills to share our understanding of this topic
and our ideas (literacy). Throughout this task we will need to use
the skills of ‘Thinking’ and using ‘Language, Symbols and Text.’

How are ideas have changed about space
Our ideas about black holes have changed over time.Stephen Hawking
was a famous scientist that had lots of ideas about black holes. Stephen
Hawking changed our ideas about black holes. We use too think that nothing
come out of black holes but Stephen Hawking discovered that radiation
#comes out of black holes. Stephen Hawking thinks that the universe was
made from a dense black hole then it exploded and now everything is
expanding. Scientists have now proven that everything is moving away
from us this means that Stephen Hawking might be correct.

right and with the technology that we have now that we can prove that he was
