Descriptive Writing

At the moment in class, we have been working on descriptive writing. We have been using pictures to give us ideas of what to write about. Here is a piece of writing I did.

The Back In Time Elevator

One day I was walking through town on the cracked and broken footpath.
I was going to have a look at the shopping mall. I had to go into the mall to
get in the elevator. The elevator was made out of glass so you could see out
of it. I was going up to the 23third story. Suddenly the elevator starts shaking
I yell out “HELP!” I crashed down onto my face it felt I got hit in the head with
a basketball.

I am somehow on a grass hill so I look up and say to my self that elevator must
have sent me back 66 million years ago look over there is a dozen of
brachiosaurus dinosaur. But over there look at those jagged rocks they look
they could be a castle I kept looking around and I see a mist. Up above the
mist, there are pterosaurs they're massive. You can hear the brachiosaurus
siping on the water. I heard the trees crashing down its a TREX run I run and
then I trip over and get knocked out when I wake up I am in the elevator and
that’s the story of the back in time elevator The End.
